Post-Conference Education Field Trip

Content Sections

Wednesday, September 14; 8 AM to 3 PM. In-person only. Additional $150.

Join us for a hands-on education field trip! We will explore the brand new AZPM studios and see first-hand the innovative work they have built into the walls of their new home.

Then, come fly with us – literally (well, drones), experience medical training using AI, and explore an award-winning innovative program that supports all K-12 schools in Tucson and the surrounding area.

But wait, there’s more! We may go underground to focus on what it takes to see into space, or we may explore the desert, you never know!

Don’t miss this year’s Education Field Trip!

Pima JTED is a public career and technical education district that works with business and industry and 14 public school districts across southern Arizona. Through central and satellite campuses, the district serves approximately 30,000 sophomore, junior, and senior level high school students each year in programs from the industrial trades to health care, from human services to advanced technology, and more. These award-winning programs are proven to increase student success, significantly contribute to the local economy, and afford students the chance to jumpstart their careers.

In 2020, JTED opened the Bridges campus, which doubled in size in 2024 with the addition of the Mel and Enid Zuckerman Center for Health and Medical Careers. Now serving almost 1,500 students each week, the Bridges is JTED's flagship campus with cutting edge programs and equipment in Drones and Air Transportation, 3D Animation and Game Design, Cybersecurity, AI, Robotics and Automation, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Biomanufacturing, a range of healthcare pathways, and more. These programs are available to high school students from public, private, charter, and homeschools from anywhere within JTED's 12,000 square mile service delivery area at no charge.

Come see a shining star in the southern Arizona education landscape!
