Future of Education Summit
10 AM to 4 PM. In-person only.
Reinventing Learning Experiences: Evolving learning models and digital acceleration have created new opportunities to expand how students learn and educators work, including in environments where learning takes place anytime and anywhere. What does that mean for how schools are structured? How do we support families and learning within the broader community? During this pre-conference session, we will collaborate around problems of practice and the ways in which we can overcome barriers to ensure every student succeeds.
Newcomers Reception
5:30 to 6 PM. In-person only.
Have you been in public media for less than three years? Come network with your fellow newcomers and mentors before the Public Media Awards Reception.
Thursday, September 14
Since 2003, WGVU Public Media and the Grand Valley State University College of Education and Community Innovation have worked in partnership to support K-12 student engagement across West Michigan. Focusing on innovative, experiential learning that fosters student connection to the local community and the wider world, universities and public media can be the convener, liaison, and window into the great work of educational partnerships.
We invite you to discover West Michigan and be part of exploring the unique educational partnerships in the community through one of two Experiential Learning pathways. Begin now by choosing your own adventure:
