The mission of public media is to serve the public with intelligent programming not available elsewhere and to provide quality local programming for the communities we serve. The mission is supported by people engaged with their local public television station who are willing to contribute to its success.P3 Public Media is invested in your success. The P3 Public Media Scholarship will provide one 2020 NETA Conference and CPB Public Media Thought Leader Forum registration to a station General Manager. To apply, please send a letter of application to netaconference@netaonline.org Include why attending the conference will support you and your station. Applications are due no later than October 31, 2019.

Sandweiss & Associates, a strategic planning company, is offering one 2019 NETA Conference and CPB Public Media Thought Leader Forum registration. This scholarship is open to everyone. Please submit a letter of request to netaconference@netaonline.org Include how the conference will support your professional development and what you would like to learn by attending. Applications are due no later than October 31, 2019.

Do you want to learn something new and have a little fun along the way? Then this scholarship is for you! Behind the Wings is offering one $500 travel stipend for a Content professional. Please submit a letter of request to netaconference@netaonline.org. Please include why you would like to attend the conference and a story about your favorite aircraft. Applications are due no later than October 31, 2019.

NAB provides numerous resources to keep our members apprised of the legislative and regulatory issues facing broadcasters, including talking points, issue briefs, interactive presentations and additional tools to help members be informed and advocate on broadcasters' primary legislative issues. This year in support of Public Media, NAB is offering two $500 travel stipends to attend the 2020 NETA Conference and CPB Public Media Thought Leader Forum. One scholarship is designated for first time attendees and one is open to everyone. Applications are due no later than October 31, 2019.

NETA TEAM SCHOLARSHIP

Includes:

  • Free Conference registration for second Conference attendee from a station


Requirements:

  • Station must be sending more than one person to the NETA Conference.
  • Must be member in good standing of NETA Programming Service, NETA Business Center, or NETA Corporate Member
  • Must be a first-time attendee to the NETA Conference

How to Apply:

  • Submit a letter of request to NETA and share how attending the conference would support your professional development and how having a team at the 2020 NETA Conference and CPB Public Media Thought Leader Forum will support your station. Submit by sending to teernisse@netaonline.org no later than Friday, October 25, 2019.


Awarded as follows:

  • One conference registration to a NETA Programming Service Subscriber decided by NETA Content team
  • One conference registration to a NETA Business Center Client decided by NETA Business Center team
  • One conference registration to a NETA Corporate Member decided by NETA Education team
  • One conference registration to a NETA Programming Service, NETA Business Center or NETA Corporate Member decided by NETA President
